Nueva Escuela de Música
Nueva Escuela de Música teaches music in Spanish & English, using the music you know and love. Founded by Grammy-award winner, Alonso Leyva of Los Horóscopos, we teach all ages in an encouraging, fun, loving, but rigorous environment.
Our mission is to harmonize the community by teaching music in a new way to enlighten minds, unlock creativity, make beautiful music through group collaboration, instill confidence, develop critical thinking, sharpen minds, and bring cultural pride for the purpose of inspiring young minds into future leaders in their communities.

GRAND DESIGN
Grand Design, Inc., “Aurora’s only African American Performing Arts Company” provides culturally sensitive performing art programs embedded in the African-American heritage while incorporating other cultures into all performances and productions.
One of several programming and services, Grand Design’s Sing, Step, Act and Dance program provides a medley of free performing arts disciplines to youth members at the Boettcher Aurora Boys and Girls Club including Contemporary Dance, Drumming, Choir, African Dance and Visual Arts.

Founded in 1987 as Colorado Repertory Dance Company, the organization changed it’s name in 1998 to reflect the driving force behind the Company’s artistic and educational vision, Founder/Artistic Director/ Choreographer Kim Robards. KRD is critically acclaimed for its high artistic standards consistently met by Artistic Director Kim Robards as she creates new, quality dance works.

5280 Artist Co-Op is a company formed for the purpose of bringing artists together from all artistic disciplines to produce great art that touches the heart of our community. Aurora-Based 5280 Artist Co-Op announces its “1 Night – 6 Plays,” a collection of six short 15-minute original plays presented in two acts. This is the 3rd season this format is being produced. The opening was delayed due to COVID concerns.
Co-founders Adrienne Martin-Fullwood, Kenya Fashaw, and Stephanie Hancock have been in Aurora since its beginning in 2016. All three ladies are veterans of Colorado Theatre who founded 5280 Artist Co-Op to tell stories from a uniquely Afro-centric perspective and to give young writers the opportunity to have their work produced and performed. The ladies are available for live interviews. The show runs April 30 through May 29 at 1400 Dallas Street in the Aurora Cultural Arts District.

Owned and operated by the City of Aurora Cultural Services Division, the 245-seat Aurora Fox Theatre is home to the Aurora Fox Theatre Company, a professional company widely recognized for its eclectic, high-quality fare, the Aurora Fox Studio Theatre a smaller black-box theatre where more cutting-edge works are produced, and the Aurora Fox Little Foxes, which annually produces the popular theater for youngsters. Having just celebrated 26 successful seasons, The Aurora Fox wants you to relax, have fun, and get excited again.

THEATRE ESPRIT ASIA
Theatre Esprit Asia – TEA is the Southwest’s first and only Asian American theatre company. Founded in 2012 by Maria Cheng and Tria Xiong, TEA is committed to creating social change for a more just and empathetic world through powerful and dramatic exploration of issues of the contemporary human condition. It has produced to critical acclaim 13 productions, all world or regional premieres.
TEA has received accolades from major publications and critics and garnered 20 awards from the Colorado theatre community including Best Production and Peoples’ Choice for its original Coming to America at the 2016 Colorado American Association of Community Theatre (AACT) Festival. TEA performed at the National AACT Festival in June 2017 and will be performing at the International Festival in June of 2018.

Vintage Theatre Productions was founded by Craig Bond, Debbie Laureta, Chris Goranson, Lindsay Sanders Goranson and David Trimble in August 2002, over martinis. This evening spent with friends launched our mission to bring the best quality theatre to the Front Range! We entered our space on 17th Avenue in 2008 and temained there for four years as we grew our company artistically. In March 2012 we decided to purchase our new location at 1468 Dayton St Aurora 80010, joining the Aurora Cultural Arts District.
